Lordship: Day 13:

Ephesians 2:10: For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

To me this is one of the most telling Scriptures in the Bible. We were created by God Almighty in Christ Jesus for very specific things.

Ephesians 1:3-4: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4. just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,

We were chosen before the foundation of the world to be holy and without blame before God.

We were created to do good works. Many would take this to mean doing good works in the church community, volunteering, serving as ushers, greeters, prayer workers, childrenís workers etc. I think that is only the tip of the iceberg. Yes we are to do those things, because we love God and want to advance His kingdom, we want to see everyone come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. However, I think it means something on a much deeper level and this is where we need to be in our growth with the Lord.

Good Works is being obedient to God the Father and His word. It is loving Jesus with all our heart, seeking Him first, standing in Godís promises, and accepting full salvation from our Savior. Full salvation that includes eternal life, healing and prosperity. That is what it means when the Scripture says "all spiritual blessings".

God has a specific purpose for each of us! We need to get before His face and learn what that is and then walk in it! We are blessed beyond measure, but many of us donít know what those blessings are or how to receive them. To know Godís blessing, you must get into the Word and study it. Learn all the promises for believers and open your heart and mind to receive them. Walk in victory, walk in the good works God the Father created you to perform. Amen!

Confession: I was created in Christ for good works! I open up my heart to receive all that God has for me. I am a new creature, I walk in divine health and all that I do will prosper because I am blessed with all spiritual blessing in Christ.
